If you are following along, you may recall that I was super sick all last week. I mean- I couldn’t even sit up in bed I was so sick.

The man of the house tried to get me situated every day before he went to work. He left me juices and crackers and made me plain rice. But it wasn’t working.

After the third day, I was a little better, but starting to really feel the effects of dehydration. It is miserable, let me tell you.

I had this crazy craving for bananas, and Emergen-C, and oddly, peanut butter powder.

Emergen-C Super Orange, 1000 mg of Vitamin C, 0.32 Ounce, 30-Count Fresh Organic Bananas Approximately 3 Lbs 1 Bunch of 6-9 BananasJif Peanut Powder, 6.5 Ounce

I figured this was my body’s cry for something in those things, and they sounded reasonable. There was no way on the planet that I was leaving the house.

I was also not going to call the man to bring me these things. He was already missing enough work.

I was on Amazon binge watching Haven (which is amazing btw) and saw an ad for Prime Now in between episodes.

I saw the words FREE SHIPPING.

And 2 HOURS.

What can they bring me in 2 hours?

I clicked the link, and saw food. The bananas.. the Emergen-C. And Smart Water.

These are things I needed.

I put them in my cart.

I saw that I could choose to have the bag left at my door without calling. This was a bonus, as I was napping off and on, and didn’t really want to be woken up.

I picked that.

Then I started thinking about what else I wanted…

I did see popsicles- the coconut fruit ones.

THAT sounded good. But apparently you had to pick the answer the door option for that. I get that. Leaving popsicles in a bag on the doorstep unattended is probably not a great idea.

So, I took those out, and was back to “Let Me Sleep” option.

I saw there was a suggested tip of $5. I figured that with no shipping cost, the tip was a pretty minor fee. I paid it gladly.

I fell asleep.

My plans were ill fated though. As soon as the delivery person approached the door, my dog got crazy and woke me up. They didn’t make much noise though. They left the bag and ran. I never even saw their vehicle.

I grabbed my goods and inhaled them. I felt electrolytes fire off their happiness in my body.

I felt a lot better.

I wish they had had it when I was pregnant and then home with my daughter. It would have saved us all a lot of heartaches and time.

I am pretty sure you can’t get this everywhere. We have like 120000 Amazon Distribution centers in Phoenix. I pass 2 on my way to work every day.

But I think they are expanding it like wild. Check your Prime to see if it is on there. I dare you. You will order things.. fast. And you will be happy too!

Is this an ad for Amazon Prime Now? Well, duh! But not like they paid me to write it. Holy cow. I am just in love with this service. (If you do click on the link, and make a purchase I will receive a small commission. It does not increase the amount you pay though.)
